Wilderness Lodge???

We are planning to stay at the WL in Dec. since the new great rates are available. I've been to the resort for lunch, but have never stayed there before. What should I know about it? We have a standard view room. Do they all have balconies? I just love the "look " of WL and I'm sure it will be awesome decorated for Christmas. Please tell me what I can expect. By the way, this is an adults only trip. Did I make a good choice?

My husband and I did an adults only trip once to the WL. It soon became my husbands favorite resort. There are so many places to just sit and enjoy the theme of this resort. The balconies are a plus, we have stayed in courtyard and woods view and have found it a nice place to relax late afternoon before heading out for dinner. We always miss the Christmas decorations by a week, and this always makes us sad, but due to the fact I am a teacher it limits or travel dates during the school year.

The Artist Point is a great place for dinner, and so is the Territory lounge for a light snack and drink.

You will love this resort.
