How do I get a cheaper rate at Wilderness Lodge in May? I know codes were offered this year, does anyone remember what the rates were?

I don't know what the WL rates were this past year but to answer how to get a cheaper than rack rate.

Do you belong to AAA? There are AAA room discounts every year, although it is often not as good as the codes that come out. Codes are offered when Disney has a surplus of rooms to sell. They can be for the general public or special groups, such as Disney Visa or Annual Passholders.

It really all depends on WDW's bookings, but good luck with getting a discount

Oh, BTW, if you aren't registered at disneyworld.com - go do that to hopefully get on their mailing list. There's another thread about why some people get email codes and others don't - but if you have a phone that is NOT registered on the DO NOT CALL list, use that number. I changed mine to my cell number as the home number is registered with Do Not Call.

Many people have thought that requesting the vacation planning DVD from disneyworld.com might help in getting a code, although they won't come out for a looooonnnng time for next May.
