Wilderness Lodge

We Love the Lodge!! We stayed on the concierge level in july 2006. We hope to go back again next year. My teenage son and daughter can't wait to go back. We will definitely do the concierge again the food and CM's were awesome!!

I agree about the CMs in concierge! Fanstastic service, and so friendly. And this being my first concierge experience made a lasting memory.

Everyone is making me so excited to stay there in April, but my question is this....

We've decided to stay at WLV in a two bedroom. We are a family of 5 and found we really need two bathrooms. We stayed at POR recently and longed for extra space. My parents are traveling to WL as well and will be in a standard room. Will we still feel the WL magic being in the villas section? I looked at those birds eye pics and it looks like the villas are closer to the bus stop, true?

Ok what is theconcierge level and do you have to ask for that when you book. Because I didn't see it when I book on line. I booked a courtyard view without bunk beds as it is on myself and Dh going.

I was kinda wondering what everyone is talking about too with the concierge. I'm pretty sure that's just the fancy name for the customer service section right where you check in. They didn't do any song and dance for us but everyone was nice. I guess that's why I'm wondering why everyone is making a big deal about it.

The concierge level is on the seventh floor. You have to ask for it when booking. They serve a continental breakfast, afternoon snacks, evening h'ordeurves, and an evening snack. We stayed there in July 2006 and loved it. HTH:) :)

If I already booked can I call and request to be on that level and how much more is it.
Thanks

In answer to your question about changing to concierge or club level - sure you can request this change however it will cost you approximately $100 to $125.00 extra per night to do so.

You will love the lodge regardless of where you are located.

villa are definitely closer to the bus - even on the regular map

the villa surround number 24, the bus stop is number 1.

I think you feel the Disney magic anywhere on Disney property myself. Don't know what you will feel.

I haven't stayed at the Villas, but you should still feel part of the magic since you share the restaurants, pool, etc. It's very peaceful over there. Yes you are closer to the bus stop there but further away from the boat to MK.

If I already booked can I call and request to be on that level and how much more is it.

Yes, you should be able to change your reservation if rooms are available - the additional cost is about $100/night, depending on time of year and other discounts. Concierge CM's can also help with trip planning and ADR's.

Y'all drop by the WL FAQ thread to get more info - 1st page has key info, and people drop in all the time to ask questions. Have a great stay at the WL! http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=658804&page=446
