Wilderness Lodge Wait List

Just wondering what my chances are to get Wilderness for 2nd week in August? We booked 2br for SSR and wait listed for BCV and WL. I was a little late in reserving at 7 month window and hope wait list pans out. Either way we are still going somewhere.

We booked SSR for 5/5-5/8 2br and went on the waitlist for VWL or BCV in mid December. The waitlist came through for VWL 2br at the end of January.

About 6 weeks ago - I booked a studio in SSR for a friend June 25-29 and asked to be waitlisted for VWL but only wanted it if is was a match for the entire stay. DVC called on Friday as the waitlist had come through and they'll be staying at the VWL for their entire stay. Good Luck!

When I checked about 10 days ago, there was availability at VWL for a 2 bedroom Aug. 12-17. Is that when you're going? Since it wasn't that long ago, maybe the waitlist isn't too long.

We're waitlisted for one night of our trip at VWL that same week- just for a studio though. It for the last night, so if it doesn't come through I think we'll just pay cash for a room in the WL itself.

Thanks for the tidbit. That sounds like good news. When I made the reservation they had 3 out of the five nights available and I don't really feel like changing rooms with a party of 8. It sounds like we might have a shot.
