Wilderness Lodge Villas Info

The maps, and room maps, photos and such that Doc and others have provided for OKW, HHI, and other resorts are very helpful. Such as what floors have which villa types, etc.

Are there ones for WLV? If so I must have missed the bookmark on them.

Anyone want to share some photos, maps, room reviews for VWL. We have friends going there for the first time and I really am not that familar with this location other than the dreaded dumpster view.

Anything, anyone can share is greatly appreciate.

InstImpres has pdf of a map of VWL here. (Thanks Sandy!) Those 2 bedroom corner units that over look the pool have a different floor plan the the standard VWL/BWV/BCV/SSR format. I'll have to see if I still have the floor plan of that room. (I posted it on another board a couple months ago.)

Here is the plan for the corner room I was refering to. I think with two walls having windows in the livingroom would make it feel much bigger.

i was wondering if there is a difference in Dedicated Studio vs. Lock off studio in terms of bedding???

We have 2 studios room for reservation for 2 families and i didn't realize there are some studios rooms next to each other...GREAT!!!

Were you able to see InstImpres's pdf map of VWL? The dedicated 2 bdrm's were in yellow. There are none on the first floor and fairly equal number on the 2nd-5th floors.

The bedding should be the same; a queen and a full size pull out sofa. Just beware of the dreaded dumpster view (x60 and x62). I don't know if it's really that bad but something to be aware.

Also for all you VWL fans, in addition to the new rehab at Roaring Forks, they are expanding the pool deck at the main pool, rehabbing the lodge rooms and making some yet to be determined improvements with the villa's area. I will know more after our visit.
