Wilderness Lodge Views

We booked woods view and were at the very end of the "horseshoe" overlooking the boat dock and the geyser. It was wonderful to look out over the lake in the mornings, we got to watch the EWP from our balcony, and if we leaned just a bit we could also see the MK fireworks! It was a perfect view!

I have to admit that we've been now three times to WDW and I've never really looked at WL. I don't know why. But in going through and reading about the different views, I can see why a lot of people stay there. They geyser and the lake view sound great, as well as the the bear's face. I guess that is the dilemma, which view to request.

Yea I know what you mean, all the views seem great. Were going to have to sit down and think about this one.

We just returned from our vacation at the Grand Floridian, although very nice, rooms were great we missed the Wilderness Lodge!

We have stayed in the woods view, loved to watch the fireworks, and concierge courtyard view, able to see the water pagent.

We missed the lobby, the cozy feeling you get every time you go in the lobby.

Do you have the other view from your room of the Castle and the CR?

Though we were facing the castle, the trees pretty much completely obstucted the view of the castle and the Contemporary. On a positive note, we could see some of the fireworks from our balcony. I don't have pictures of that. Honestly, it wasn't that bad. We were only there for 2 nights following a 5 night stay at BWV with a great view and great location, plus we had a good AP rate on the room. No complaints from us.
