Does boat transportation from the Wilderness Lodge to the Contemporary Resort begin around 6:45 in the morning?

I have a Kona breakfast next week at 7:30 and was thinking taking the boat to the Contemporary and then the monorail to the Poly. Is this doable?

It's been a while since we stayed there but I think the earliest the boat would start would be 7:00 am. If it left WL right at 7:00 the ride takes 10-15 minutes, you have to unload, then walk up to the monorail, wait for the monorail, the monorail would stop at the CR and then onto Poly. I think the earliest you'd get to Poly would be 8:00 am and that would be pushing it. I'd op for a cab or Uber, much less stress and should only cost a few bucks.

when we stayed at WL and had reservations at monorail hotels we would get the bus to MK (buses start running at 6.30) then get on the monorail. But check the monorail schedule first.

It once took us 1.5 hours to go from WL to Grand Floridian for a dinner reservation. We took the bus from WL to MK, then took the monorail to GF. Made our dinner reservation with about 5 minutes to spare. From now on, for a reservation, I will take a cab or better yet Uber.

:crazy2::crazy2::crazy2: I will be digging further on this. Uber might be the way to go.

I'd taxi/uber. Technically possible but cutting it way too close. Also the monorail is not always running that early. For instance, the resort monorail didn't start until 8:30AM on Monday/Tuesday this past week (it was 7AM the other days). This is good website to bookmark: http://www.orlandoparksnews.com/p/weekly-walt-disney-world-times-guides.html

Whenever we do breakfast ADRs almost anywhere on property, we find taxi/uber is the best way to go even if there are other options. It's quick, reasonably priced, and gives you an element of control over your transportation you otherwise don't have with Disney transport. The last thing you need first thing in the morning is to be all stressed about getting to breakfast.

Good luck!

We did a bus from WL to get to ressies, they get you to early morning ressies and start by 6:30. When you get on tell them where you are going and they will get you very close, we did the castle and was taking to MK, we did Chef Mickey and they took us to contemporary. We did tucker and they took us to ask, we did ohana and went to poly, but if I remember correctly they actually dropped us at the transit station and we walked, but I could be wrong, we were there 15 days and I forget each trip. I think the only one we had a problem with was breakfast at cape may, I think they took us to Epcot and we get a free taxi, but again I can't remember exactly. I do know we made every early morning ressies we had, and we had a lot, because we eat breakfast and dinner, we never eat lunch.
