Wilderness Lodge to Fort Wilderness?

Is there a water launch that gets you from Wilderness Lodge to Fort Wilderness? If so, how often do they run. I am eating dinner at Artist Point followed by a carriage ride at Fort Wilderness. I am trying to figure out how long it will take to get to FW.

Yes there is a boat that goes between the two or at least there was. It is not a long ride( I think you can actually see one dock from the other). The time it takes will largely depend on how long you have to wait for a boat. Enjoy!

There is a boat, or it's about a 20 minute walk while it's still light out. If you are dressed up, though, I'd not walk.

There is also a bus, but the boat is by far a more scenic trip. If it is after dinner then you will have two boats to pick from. At that hour the boat from the MK stops at WL then FW then MK. The other smaller boats run in both directions so ask which resort it heads to next CR or FW.

As for how long, it could be as fast as 10min(less than 5 on the bus) or it can be longer, all depends on if you have to wait or not. The boats and buses run in continualy loops so timing is everything.
