Wilderness Lodge Standard Room Recommendation?

Morning friends,

we are arriving at Wilderness Lodge later this week and would be really grateful to know if there if there is a particular room we can request as being a good location - and not overlooking the delivery area!

Well, we stayed there in June and asked when we made ressies in May not to be near the lobby to avoid the noise. Meaning we would get a loading/delivery area room, i believe.

When we got there, they said "Okay, here's a room away from the lobby, as you requested." We wound up with a corner pool view room that was situated so you could see some of the courtyard. My understanding is upgrades happen a lot at WL and AKL, so you may not want to request a specific location other than requesting NOT to be put in a certain area (ala the delivery area).

We asked for a standard view that had more trees/roof rather than parking lot/roof. We got a lovely room overlooking the vaction club villas pool. (I'm not sure if that was an upgrade to woods view)
