Kidani Village Room Request: Refurbished?

Hi! I'll be checking into Kidani in about a month. I'm getting ready to put in a room request but would like to get some first hand, current knowledge regarding which rooms are already refurbished, which rooms are currently being worked on, and if they are still checking people into non-refurbished rooms. I've seen mixed reports on various social media outlets so I thought I'd ask here hoping for some current, first hand intel. Thanks!

According to this post in the AKV thread, you’re guaranteed a refurbished room at Kidani.

Yes, I've read contradicting reports elsewhere so am hoping to hear from a recent guest. Would like to request a room near pool... not sure if those are open?

If you read back a few pages in that thread, there are reports of which half of the building they started on, which is now finished. I can’t remember whether it was the north end (near pool) or the south end (near bus stop). Or Search that thread for “refurb” or similar terms.

I haven't seen any contradicting reports on here. The rooms near the pool are currently closed for refurbishment. You will get a room on the bus stop/Jambo side of the building when you check in next month. They may open some rooms on the north side by the time you check in, but that's not a sure thing.

I believe the refurbished rooms are the ones near the bus stop end (south end), the north end rooms are currently being refurbished.

Thank you! Right, not contradicting on disboards. But I read on another social media outlet from a recent guest who said it was only the last block of the north wing that was currently closed (not the entire wing). So I'm not sure if the north end blocks closer to pool/lobby are refurbished yet. Hoping someone who is currently there can fill me in. Thanks!
