Has anyone done this in the past or have you signed up for it this year??? This will be our first year doing it and i thought i remembered reading they picked you up in front of the wilderness lodge. But after we made our ressie's they told us we'd have to meet them in the back of the resort by the boat and bike rental place. Does anyone know which is correct?? Also if you've done this in the past if you could give a review of it. What you thought about it. Any tips. What it was like? Thanks!

THEY HAVE SLEIGH RIDES???????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Is there snow????!!!
It sounds like fun!!!
:santa: :santa: :santa:

My family is signed up for Dec. 23, our 1st time doing this.
Shhhhhh :ssst: the kids don't know.

When I made our reservation, the CM on the phone said to meet out front 15 minutes prior to our reservation time.

We did the sleigh ride two years ago, and we met in front of the Wilderness Lodge! There is no snow, but it was a chilly night, and we had gotten some hot chocolate for my DD from the lobby of the WL, and DH got a little cup of wine, and we went along a little path. The horse had some sleigh bells, and the carriage was decorated for Christmas! It was really nice, and we got to see some deer! We had a great time!

DH and I did this last year and the sleigh was in the front of the lodge. It did have sleigh bells, no Christmas music though. While it was a nice, quiet (almost too quiet) ride through the woods, it was almost pitch black dark and we really couldn't see anything. The driver was telling us the carriage rides at Ft. Wilderness are nice because they take you around and you can see everyone's Christmas decorations. It was a nice experience, though. I'm glad we did it.

We are thinking of going to WDW Christmas 2008. Planning my budget now. How much does the sleighride cost per person?

If my memory serves me correctly (and sometimes it doesn't!), but it was about $30 or $35 for the sleigh ride. It is not per person though.

Yes, it is $35 for the sleigh ride. I have one booked on Dec. 19th. I was told to be out front about 15 min. prior.
