Wilderness Lodge safe size?

I may have to bring my laptop so DD can get some of her homework done while we're at Disney. My MacBook measures about 13x9 inches. Does anyone know if this will fit in the safe there?

I can't remember the size of the AKL safe but the POFQ one was smaller than AK's, so I wonder if WL is the same.

I hate to even bring it but this is the first and only time we'll take her out for more than 2 days, so I'd like to keep in touch with school. I assume there aren't any public use computers on site, right?

When our MacBook doesn't fit in a safe, we usually lock it up in a suitcase. I've not tried it with that size of safe, I have, however, put it in the safes at the CR and Poly; they are quite large and are not mounted on the wall. The wall-mounted ones really are only intended for paperwork mostly.

Most likely it will not fit. I take my little netbook with me on my trips and it "just" fits into the safe.

Your Mac Book will not fit into the WL safe.

I can usually fit my camera, cell phone, wallet and car keys in the safe, but not much else. It's maybe 8-9 inches wide, maybe 5 inches high and about 4 inches deep, but part of that depth is taken up by the lock mechanism, so you can't put anything thick in that half of the safe (I usually have to play around with the camera to get it in the right spot so the door will close). The door opening is smaller than the safe inside - maybe an inch and a half on height and a couple inches on width, which also restricts what you can put in it.

I've been able to put a laptop in the safe at BCV, CR, BLT, and Poly, and not anywhere else.

I would have it locked up at the front desk when your not in the room. I've done this with my video cam when I did not want to drag it along with me. I would agree with the above poster that it will not fit in the safe they are way to small.
