Are there any rooms in the WL located in the main building -- if so, are they concierge? what view do you reserve? or is being in the main building just another special request?

Other than the Wilderness Lodge Villas (separate building), all rooms are located in the main building. Even though the WL is a very big building, having rooms in the main lodge is one of the nice perks about it. It's very well laid out, so none of the rooms are too far from the "action." The concierge rooms are on the seventh floor. We haven't stayed there (yet, codes for October please), so others will need to help you there.

The room requests are Standard View, Woods (or Lodge) View, and Courtyard (pool view). Some people like their rooms to open up to the seven story lobby while others prefer a little more out of the way, quiet area.

If you haven't found it yet, check out the WL FAQ pages. You'll find days and days of reading there that will answer just about every question you have.

I stayed on the concierge level on my Honeymoon. Our room was facing the MK, and opened overlooking the lobby. The rooms arn't the biggest of the concierge on property but they are bigger then the normal WL rooms. As for the treatment, they had a continential breakfast every morning, with plenty of fruits and bottled drinks to take along to the parks. At lunch they had finger sandwiches, PB&J for kids and other light snacks, plus more bottled drinks, and at night they had corduals for the adults and little cakes for eveyone. However, the best part in our opinion is that when we couldn't make priority seating ahead of time we went to our person stationed on the floor and he/she set up seating for us. We were able to get Cinderellas breakfast, Chef Mickey's etc. I guess the most help might be we would do it again.

Staying at the WL concierge in july for 1at time, what did they serve for a "dinner" fare at night?

I think that they served a late lunch. It would be out from 1-3pm or 1-4pm. Then they would just but out the late night cordials. By late I mean 8-11pm. This was however in November when the parks didn't stay open as long, so they might do it a bit differently for the summer hours. My only 100% advice is ask the CM at the elevator the first day your there, and don't be shy to say you don't really understand how it works, they love that and will really give you all the info you might need.

Have a great time and remember to post how it went. I look forward to reading it.

slinky_dogg - We are staying at WL CL for the first time this year, too. Other posters have stated that during the evening, the offerings include soups, cheese and crackers, PB&J for the kids, some hot appetizers, etc. At the Poly and at AKL, the evening appetizer hours were around 5:00-7:00 or maybe 8:00.

We just got back - evening offerings were from 5:00 pm on. The previous poster is correct about the offerings offered. The one night we were there was one hot entree of sausage with peppers and onions and a chicken with vegetables soup as well as crackers and cheese. We used it as a snack to tide us over until our late ps that night at 8:00 pm at Rose and Crown (where the fish and chips were wonderful by the way).
