DH and I had lunch in the Wilderness Lodge in the Quick Service Dining Area. It was down a ramp to the left of the lobby facing the back of the building. Is this the only quick service area? We are thinking about staying there in Feb. but I would think breakfast would be a nightmare if that is the only place to get a quick meal. Is there another place to get breakfast?

Yes, that is the only quick service at WL. We've stayed there twice and have always enjoyed Roaring Forks for breakfast. I love that they have oatmeal available for breakfast! We were at the Poly earlier this year and I far prefer WL's quick service.

Hope this helps!

This Cafeteria style Restuarant is the Wilderness Lodge's offering for CS/Quick Service meals. The several time I've eaten here I found the service fast and the CMs very helpfull. The CM let me know that on the Dining Plan since breakfast does not have a desert that you are allowed 2 beverages.

The one thing this place lacks is seating. There is a small amout in side as well as some tables on the patio that leads to the pool. I saw a large number of people getting their meals in carryout containers to take back to their rooms!

That is what I am worried about is the seating. The area is very small considering how large the resort is. From what I remember there are only two food lines, where the lines waiting for food super long in the mornings?

You can also bring the food into the awesome lobby area or outside and eat. The lobby is my favorite out of all WDW hotels.

Or you can bring it back to your room. :) I'm usually the first one ready in the morning (by far), so I go to Roaring Fork and pick up our breakfasts, then bring them back to our room. It's a bit of a balancing act sometimes bringing that all back to the room on a tray! But it works out well for us.

That said, while Roaring Fork can get a bit crowded at times, we've never had a problem finding a place to eat when we do grab a table at RF. But then we tend to eat about an hour earlier than most people, breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

We stayed there twice in August, and were able to either find tables there or right outside the doors. Not sure when you are going, but we never had trouble with seating - hope this helps.

The lines for the grill can get very long in the morning. I'm usually down there at about 6:45 AM, and I rarely encounter lines of any significance -- maybe 2 or 3 people in front of me. But by 8:00 AM, it can get quite busy. I've seen the line extend out the door.

We just returned and that was my thought about this place. Such a large resort and definitely a very small quick service dining. That being said, we never had a problem getting a table for 6 people inside. Good offerings and helpful staff.

The longest line we ever had was for dinner at Roaring Forks, and with that said, the line was less than 5 minutes long. No problems with seating either.

I have stayed at WL twice, and we always went to RF for breakfast. I never had trouble getting through the line in a reasonable amount of time. We sat outside a few times, but there was seating inside.

As a PP mentioned, going back to the room is also a good option. There's an elevator right around the corner.

My dd and I were just there in mid-August. RF was fine, pretty much. But, more often than not, we ended up sitting out in the hallway tables at busier times. It was somewhat off-putting to have people walking back and forth, in and out the doors while eating.
I wish they would enlarge the seating areas there. Many times I just gave in and took it all back to our villa.

In July of this year we were there when the resort was at full capacity(sold out). Lines were never an issue and we were always able to find a table.

I remember when I stayed at the Wilderness Lodge and would have breakfast at Roaring Forks I would always order their Breakfast Pizza which tasted great.
