Wilderness Lodge Pools

Is it o.k. to use the Wilderness Lodge Villas pool if staying at the main lodge, or is there a written (or unwritten) rule not to do so?

Has anyone here done so?

If you're staying at the Lodge or the Villas you have full use of both pools, just like all the other amenities. The Villas pool is nice and quiet if you want a more relaxing dip. We just used the main pool because the kids liked the slide and playing with other kids.

the hot tubs can be used anyone too. also the gym.

My family will be staying at the Villas for the first time this August. Is it a far walk to the main pool at the lodge?

We just returned from a stay at the WL and we used both the main pool and quiet pool, our fave was the quiet villas pool, we'd walk past the pool bar get a drink and go over to the villas quiet pool. Although both were very crowded when we went. We then overheard many were there from Fort Wilderness. When we later rented a boat, we saw the boat taking the Fort Wilderness guests back over to their resort in their swim attire. I didn't know the pool was for WL, Villa and Fort Wilderness guests, too many people for such small pools in my opinion. But, we had a great time and both pools were very clean.

Thanks spiceycat. Last time we stayed at the Beach Club Villas and it was a hike to Stormalong Bay.

At the WL, no matter if you are staying in the Villas or in the Lodge, you have access to both pools and hot tubs.

No, these pools are NOT for FW guests. I believe they inform each guest of this fact when they check in. WL pools are for WL & WLV guests only. The small boat goes FW/WL/CR but is not intended to promote "pool hopping".
