twinklebug, Thank you for the help on posting the image. I went ahead and edited my older post to include the image; you can keep the image on your post or edit it, whichever is fine with me.

That sitting area is one of my favorite spots in the Wilderness Lodge; I could sit there for hours.

Was there a few weeks ago for dinner while staying at another resort, and had the chance to snap a few pics. Here's the front coming up the stairs from the parking lot:

These were very difficult since I only had my kit lens on my mirrorless camera and no tripod, and it was pitch black night. I was able to use the multistacking mode in the camera that takes 6 photos in quick succession and merges them into one, so the high ISO 6400 results end up cleaner. I just had to get the shot, evne high ISO and handheld, because the crescent moon hanging over the lodge was very cool, showing not just the crescent portion, but the unilluminated portion of the moon was visible too:

And had to take a shot of the topiary buffaloes near the stairs to the parking lot:

Hey! We recently switched our ressies from the BC to the WL!!! We only stayed here one night a few years ago in the Deluxe Suite (we are a fan of 5), but our oldest DS isn't going this year-doesn't want to miss a week of school..anyhoo, we are booked now in a Courtyard View room.
We are wanting to upgrade to Standard room Club Level-but they keep showing no availability at this point --so if we don't get that, we will just be happy with a Courtyard View.
Couple of questions,...at Courtyard View, is there any requests I should make? I am gonna ask for a higher floor and a full balcony. and secondly, do any of you have pics of the recently reno'd rooms? I went back a few pages on this thread and didn't see any pictures of reno's...maybe I missed them...TIA!

The 7th floor of the South Wing will undergo a rehab starting July 7 - 27. From about July 7-13, the lounge will be closed and therefore, CL will be closed so there are no bookable rooms at that time. Is that when you're looking or are CL rooms just not available with your discount?

All rooms at WL have full balconies, so no need to request that. Do you want a view of Bay Lake and the geyser? Is so, you need to request an INNER or WL Courtyard View room. If you want a view of the villas then you would request an OUTER or VWL Courtyard View room. Keep in mind that some of the 6th floor rooms have balconies with solid railings that you can't see through.
