But, seriously, I would rather see them twice than not at all so keep posting!

Love seeing them. The tapestry next to the elevator is beautiful. I can't wait to see all the details in the villas. Just walked through there once but not enough time to explore. Will take my time in 78 days!

As always - WOW, what great pictures everyone! I've loved looking at all the new ones posted from the holiday visits this year but they also make me sad b/c we never did make it over to the lodge during our stay. Guess I just have to live vicariously thru this thread again until next November when we are actually going to stay at VWL. I'm hoping that the decorations will go up sometime during our stay so that I'll be able to add some more pictures to this great thread!

The wife has never been to WDW and the husband has only been once as a child. The husband's father contracted with Disney to provide the white landscape rock for the Magic Kingdom when it was first built. I can't wait to share the "world" with them!

The funniest part was that Disney offered my friend's dad Disney stock in lieu of cash payment. He turned down the stock because he said that he didn't think that WDW would be successful because "nobody would go that far to see a mouse"

In this photo (from post above) when I first looked at it the deer caught my eye and it looks as if he is looking to see the star at the top of the tree.

Sorry I'd do just about anything for a fellow Disney fan, but that's not happening.

I would trade with any WL fan As long as it shortens the days I have to wait before going back. Any Takers Keen observation about the deer carving, I hadn't even noticed that. Sometimes I spend so much time with the total picture that I miss the details.

It really lends itself to the Christmas Season. You will find yourself in front of one of the fireplaces, even if it is warm outside.

That is located on the concierge level. The elevator will not take you up there unless your room key is designated for that floor.
