Wilderness Lodge Parking Lot access

Is it possible to visit Wilderness Lodge just to see the Christmas Decorations? We will be in our rental car. Do not plan to eat there unless we just picked up something at the food court. Can you get say a 3 hour pass at the gate on like a Tuesday night? Want to show the tree to the grandkids and the geyser at the pool + the neat gift shop. Maybe try the search for the hidden Mickeys at that resort.
This is a MVMCP night so obviously I am not parking there to avoid a Magic Kingdom parking fee.

the only time you are turned away is when the resort is full or on those nights when the MK is having a party....

because people do park to avoid the fees.

If for some reason you shouldn't be able to park there, you can get to WL by boat from MK. So, you could always head over to WL for a quick break on a day you're visiting MK.

1) You can say you are looking at decorations.
2) Or, you can say you are grabbing a bite at Roaring Fork.
. . . RF is a QS eatery
. . . it does not take ressies
. . . so, the guard doesn't know if you are eating or not

Thanks for the answers. The grandkids are going to Yellowstone this summer so I really think they will enjoy seeing the hotel. I thought only the Contemporary and Polynesian has trouble with folks using their parking lots to avoid the $15.00 charge. I will have a parking receipt from earlier in the day so hopefully that will help if I run into a problem as I would be able to park at the Mk for no extra cost. Just hate to be in the middle of all the stuff at the MK. Park at MK. Tram to T & T. Monorail to MK. Change to boat to WL. Would be alot easier to just park at WL. I will try and if they say no then go back and park at MK.
