Wilderness Lodge Mercantile

Does the Mercantile sell food like boxes of cereal, 1/2 gallons of milk, peanut butter and bread? We stayed at the Swan last year and the store at the Boardwalk sold lots of food items for DVC members, which was so convenient for us and saved us lots for breakfast and such.

Any help is appreciated.

I know they had milk and lunch meat, and lunchables when we were there last December. I was surprised how many things they did have. They had quite a few items in a refrigerated area. I can't really remember anything else. Maybe someone who has been there more recently will know.

You could call Wilderness Lodge and I'm sure they would tell you.

Since the Villas opened the Merchantile has stocked more food geared towards small kitchens including bread, frozen dinners, milk, etc.

Thanks both of you for your quick replies. The Mercantile should be fine for the basic items that we want. We're only staying 5 days and we figure it would be cheaper to buy some breakfast items and have more to spend on eating dinner out.

I just got back last week-end and took these photo's while at the Mercantile...Yes they have breakfast items. I didn't take photo's of the Milk but it is available.

They have yummy Entemann's donuts. We bought donuts and milk, which isn't the healthiest breakfast on the planet but it was economical for a light breakfast.

Whaddya mean, donuts are made from grain. I think that counts for a serving of bread.

I didn't notice in the photos, and I was wondering if someone can answer this for me...do they sell single serve yogurts like Dannon or Yoplait in 6 or 8 oz. cartons?
