So what is the latest on transportation to and from the WL now? Seems there have been many changes over the years...
Going to MK: What is best - the boat or the bus?
Is there a bus that goes from WL to the TTC? or just to MK?
Does the boat go directly to MK or stop at the Contemporary or go to Fort Wilderness?
Obviously it is bus to EPCOT, DHS, DTD, AK, and water parks.

Unless it's changed (again) recently, the current transportation situation is:

• There is a bus to the MK. There is no longer a bus to the TTC.
• There is a devoted boat route to the MK. A separate boat runs on a loop around Bay Lake which also serves the CR and FW.

I usually prefer the boat to the MK since there are two boats (one large, one small) that do nothing but serve that route. Buses can be redirected to other routes, and most everyone seems to have a story about waiting an excessive period for a bus to show up...

During our 2008 stay, we loved the WL boat. It was direct to MK. anytime there is an option beside the buses, I will take it, even if the sole reason is a change of pace. In this case, though, I really think that the boat was the better option.

We always do the boat. we love the ride, it's beautiful and a treat. I've always had a direct boat.

Thank you for posting this, I was wondering the same thing.

I think we will definitely be utilizing the boats... we've never stayed anywhere that had transportation options other than busses. DH is pretty excited.

I like the options at WL....Love the boat.

Sometimes we take the boat to Contem for monorail to Epcot.....Hey it's about the journey right

We stayed at VWL the first week of Nov. 2010 and the buses were terrible. Now I'm on vacation and not in a hurry and never mind waiting for a bus at all. But this time......UGH! It was awful. There would be four Epcot buses in a row when you wanted MK and then four MK buses when you wanted Epcot and the hits just kept on comin'! So we took the boat to CR or MK and would transfer at TTC for the Epcot monorail. Sometimes you just have to take a bus though. **sigh**
