Wilderness Lodge Furniture

Good Morning,

I was wondering if anyone out there may know where Walt Disney World may purchase the furniture for the Wilderness Lodge? If not maybe you may know who I might contact to find out.

I have been sprucing up my house over the past several years and I add a little touch of "DISNEY MAGIC" to each room. Not over the top just a hint. My kitchen has a touch of Tony's from the MK, my guest bath is the ToT, several visits ago I purchase towels and a small glass and "Do Not Disturb" sign there along with a key and am working that into the decor. I am redoing our master bed and bath room in a cabin theme/Wilderness Lodge and I love the beds they have there. A log cabin in the mountains is my dream home so I will have to settle for my bedroom.

Our master bedroom furniture is from a surplus lot from when WL was last refurb'ed.... we love it. In fact our phone in the bedroom is also a WL phone (complete with the WL nameplate). If you want the real thing, keep an eye out on eBay, though a lot of time the listings will be "local pickup only". I'm not sure who their current suppliers are however if you're looking for new.

1) Wilderness Lodge stuff is scarce.
2) It was remodeled so long ago, the surplus is mostly gone.
3) Do a GOOGLE and you can found 2-3 sources.

NOTE: When Disney remodels, it takes bids from resellers
for the whole hotel in segments. They make bid lots of
furniture, lamps, sundries (phones, etc), bedding (spreads).
Disney empties the rooms onto the concrete pad, and the
reseller loads up their truck. Then, the resellers try to get
rid of the goods. Once gone, there is no more.

OK, I know this is an old thread but there is a new lot of surplus Wilderness Lodge furniture from the new refurbishments.
You can find it by looking for WREC liquidators on facebook or email Ryan at rgodbey@cgfinancialaccounting.com. He is located in KY but has the stuff you might be looking for.

There website doesn't exist according to mr google, but I did find their stuff on ebay.

They do not currently have a website but Ryan is working on one. He hoes have a Facebook page and has far more available than is on eBay, he has all of the furniture and fixtures so lots of different things to choose from. If you contact him direct he can make a little better deal too.
