I can see on google maps that Wilderness has two electrical car station slots (run via ChargePoint). Has anyone had experiences (or has seen problems) with any of the two? For example, problems with slow charging or dysfunctional chargers? I'm concerned that they will either be constantly occupied or not working for me to return my rental car (electric car) at the 75% mark.

I read the reviews for these chargers and they might be slow.

Are you able to find out exactly what kind of EV you'd get? I looked up Hertz at MCO and it seems like they do Teslas. I looked up Tesla chargers and there are several very near Disneyworld. They charge fast (I'm the Volt owner so have no experience with fast charging) maybe like 20 minutes?

I booked the "Electric Small SUV" category described as Chevy Volt EUC or similar. Can't seem to find a list of the alternatives to the Volt. Hertz has a separate, more expensive, Tesla category, so I likely won't get that unless they upgrade me.

Polestar is the other brand that Hertz MCO has in the garage. I’ve actually never seen a Volt in the electric car lane at MCO, but I’ve probably just overlooked them.

I'm wondering if it is a Chevy 'Bolt', that is an EUV and all electric (vs the Volt which is a plug in hybrid sedan).

There are multiple chargers at the Theme Parks also. The MK parking lot has 3 stations with 5 ports available. The Epcot has 2 stations that are currently blocked for paving work. HS as 3 stations with with 1 out of order. At Animal Kindom there are 2 stations with 4 ports available.

Often the park ports are in-use during the entire park hours unless you get there as soon as the parks open. You can always check in the PlugShare smartphone app for recent updates on status of the stations.

If you have range concerns you might just want a traditional ICE rental for your trip.
