Oh, FloridaCat on the 19th I did just stay on I-4, only one problem near Altamonte (fender bender) and made real good time. I was all checked in before 11:00am and on the way to MK. [/B]

Glad it worked for you. That is your best route, but remember never before 7:30 AM to 9:30 AM or 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM weekdays. Sat & Sun. OK

Nope. That wasn't me by the baby pool. I was all over the place. Not easy to miss either right FC??? Lots of people that lurk here saw me and came up to me. I had my green mickey head on my pin lanyard.

Head down and enjoy the box. I know it was my idea but it's the people like you that make it magical. I can't wait for our return to the lodge for me to go back and see what it contains. More than likely, I will take it back to my room and read everything then bring it back.

Oh yeah, FC, what do you think of the size of the box? Small or ok for now? I agree with the assesment that we are gonna need a bigga box. Especially since there is interest from more than just people that go to the lodge. I am very touched that my idea can bring such magic to others.

The size is OK for now, but if we need a bigger one, I can take care of that. Those that find the box should report if it is getting full.

Since so many of us has missed each other, I suggest you make a letter size sign and post it by you when you are at the pool. I am going to make one to put on my door the next time I am there.

Majestic, I know this is off the subject, but I was hoping you could answer a few questions for me.

I just booked WL concierge for early December. Do all of the rooms have balconies? Should I request a courtyard view to face the pool or are my chances of getting a good view just as good without the request? How far are the guest rooms from the lounge? Lastly, are the evening offerings themed each evening such as Italian night, Chinese night, etc? If so, can you give me an idea of what they are.

I know this is a lot, but I'd appreciate anything you can share.

I hope the crowds stay as small as they were when FL Cat visited yesterday! I arrive tomorrow afternoon and I have been preparing myself for big crowds based on some of the threads I have read. Maybe not this early in October??? I bet starting next weekend (Columbus Day) it will get crowded with all of the FTP folks and the F & W partakers. I am soooo antsy---I just can't wait to be on the plane and then on my merry way to WDW!

For those of you going soon, have fun! Enjoy! Hope you find the box and remember, it's a top secret mission!!! Make sure nobody else sees you going for the box when you get close. If they see you we may lose it.

Sadly, we are not staying at the lodge this trip, but are going for dinner on our anniversary as we spent our honeymoon at WL.
Hopefully, it is ok that we partake as well. We might be staying at another resort, but our hearts belong to WL!!! (Unfortunately, our wallets don't always)

I printed out the info and DH can't wait to go on a WL treasure hunt!

Thanks for letting us partake!! We're from CT and love the WL. Having some anxiety about trying CSR this year, afraid we'll miss WL too much. We're planning on having dinner at WL and will head out on "the mission". We'll be sure to sign in and leave something to represent us behind.

We're going to WDW on the 11th of Oct. We are going to look for it and will report back. It will be a late night hunt as we are eating there at 9pm. Flashlights are all packed! I'm leaving a business card from my bed & breakfast inn that we own. And we'll put in a ride pic of the two of us. I'm going down with Karebear. This is going to be so much fun!!!

Never did but I have thought about trying it. I also wanted to get GPS coordinates for the box but I forgot my compact flash card at home when I went down. I use a CF card for my HP IPaq 5455 with Teletype GPS software. Would have been cool to get GPS coordinates.

Would also like GPS coordinates for the center of the lobby at the Lodge. If you can't get them from indoors, the waterfall would be cool.

Anyway, have fun looking for the box and enjoy your trip!
