Thanks for your quick response Majestic!

We will look for the box this week and report back upon our return on the 2nd of October from our stay at the GF.

We have stayed at WL on perhaps 15 trips and will return to it at Christmas this year.

You two guys talking about needing a bigger box reminds of that scene from the movie JAWS. You know the one where Chief Brody, after getting his first good look at JAWS, proclaims "I think we're gonna need a bigger boat"

That's a really COOL idea Fred, we'll be there in Dec and we can't WAIT to give it a try! It'll give us incentive to go back next time to look for it and see how many people signed it!

Really great idea Fred - I'm just bummed we kept missing each other and I didn't get a chance to find out about this before we left yesterday. I guess I'll just have to plan another trip - just to see the box!!

I'm gonna check it out to on my trip in mid- October.... and then again on my trip in January 2004..... and then again on my trip in.... OH! Wait- I'm getting a little carried away here... BUT I am still gonnna be checking it out! What a fun idea! I'm trying to lose weight- maybe I'll take my pic and leave it too- then you guys can tell me if you see any loss!

Wow...I thought this was a good idea but I see that it was better than I thought. Maybe someone can leave a cool Jack Skellington pin in the box for me for when we go back.

(Which may be sooner than we thought....MUCH sooner...)

Drove down to the Lodge today. My mission, if I decided to accept it locate the item, inventory it’s contents, record same contents on film.

Reporting mission carried out as instructed. Felt like I was on a covert Operation. LOL

I got to the Lodge around 10:30 AM. Walked down to the bicycle place and pulled out the instructions. I then headed down the path and came up on the “Nature Trail” sign. I looked around to make sure I was the only person there and then read the instructions and went to the wrong log laying on the ground. At first anxiety that it was gone, then went back to the sign, again read the instructions and walked to it.

I laid everything out on the ground and did an inventory. CKJ left a picture, Disbug signed the card and left a cartoon Disbug. Stinkerbelle signed the card. I then sign the card noting I had checked the box this date. Took a pic of it and then put everything back, including a pic of Majestic and me. Put the box back.
Mission Accomplished HEHEHE!

Then I went back to the Lodge for a drink and noticed hardly anyone there. I went to WC and very few people there, noon time, went back to RF got a drink and walked down to the boat dock for a puff. and take some pics. A CM was there and I asked her if it was slow. She said they were only about 30% booked. A confirmation of this was I wanted a pic of the small Launches and they were tied up over at the CR. a MK boat did come and I took a pic of that.

I then walked over to the Villas pool and the FC sign was now gone. As I was driving out I noticed the MGM & MK parking lots were pretty empty, about 1:30 PM by this time.

I printed out the directions and my DH thinks this is so cool. We cant wait to go on the "hunt" in a couple of days

Sounds like you had fun looking for it. When I did my first test run, I was really psyched when I reached the sign. I hope that everyone feels that way. It's part of the idea. Again, it should take you about 30 minutes in all and I think it's fun.

So far, I see I'm not the only one.

Just printed directions, now I have to call CRV and plan another trip, Sorry I missed you on our resent trip, I thought I saw you once at the kiddie pool with a child's intertube around your head? I was coming from boat dock by the time I walked around the pool didn't see anyone. (Just wondering if that could have been you?)

I'm not as close as FloridaCat but am going to plan another trip down soon, this trip last week was just to magical and my DH has already sugusted just he and I take a break.

Tell them as I don't think the DISers up North understand we get just as excited to plan a trip to WDW as they do even though we live here. We just don't have the traveling hasslels.

Boy is that so true, My family is such a big part of my life and with so many nieces and nephews ages 3-19 I always feel I have to take them with me. Thats why I bought DVC membership (VWL).
Last Thursday driving home around Daytona I was trying to deside when I could get the next quick trip in.
Just my DH and I next time. I just love planning and seeing new things every time I go. Christmas time sure is nice, but then again Holloween is closer.

Oh, FloridaCat on the 19th I did just stay on I-4, only one problem near Altamonte (fender bender) and made real good time. I was all checked in before 11:00am and on the way to MK.
