Wilderness Lodge Construction

Hi! I am planning a trip to WDW for this June. I haven't been since 2008, so I am super excited! I want to book WL because it is my absolute favorite and I was married there, so it is very sentimental to me Anyway, my question is I have heard there will be or is construction going on. Does anyone know how intrusive it is? Should I consider another resort? Thanks!!

The construction covers pretty much the entire resort, and does close down a wing of the main lodge. Depending on the nature of your sentiment and the time you plan to spend on-resort, you may find this intrusive.

My mom and I consider WL to be our Home away from home. We've been several times in the past six months and have seen the construction at it's different phases. I would take a look at the pictures and see for yourself if it would be bothersome for you and your family. For mom and I, while we LOVE spending time at the lodge, thats not what we came to Disney to do. So a scrim here, or a down elevator there don't bother us much. The walls they have up currently in the lobby certainly are noticeable when you walk in, but I don't think it removes anything from the majesty of the overall feel of the lodge. And the customer service is still incredible!
