Wilderness Lodge construction ? What room?

What should we make our room request for a 1 bedroom at Wilderness to not look at all the construction going on? Thanks!

"Dumpster" view (it's really laundry carts, not garbage) would have no construction

Kidding aside, the north (lake side) would face the construction, while south side (towards parking) should avoid the construction, but I don't know if direction is the ideal thing to request.

I can request woods view or courtyard or pool... thoughts ? I think the pool at villas is under rehab?

You need to contact MS and make a request for even numbered room or bus side of the resort. If you can't then woods view is going to be the best from those online.

Yes, as KAT4DISNEY said, you should request an even numbered room. That side of the resort doesn't really face the parking lot but if you get an even number room you won't be looking at construction. If online check in doesn't give you that option I would contact MS to add the request. As usual, it sounds like the online check-in options are not good for requesting views.

I do think the room assigners will load up that side first since many people are not aware of the large scope of the construction at this resort. So you'll want to be sure to make some sort of request that gives you a good chance at that. But keep in mind that it's just a request, and if looking over a construction site would significantly impact the quality of your vacation, you might want to consider booking elsewhere for this trip.
