Wilderness Lodge Construction and Room Rates

Are the room rates at WL lower due to construction?

Also, is the quick service at WL closed right now?

WL is one of the lowest price deluxe resorts on property I believe, then Contemporary, Poly & GF.

Disney prices will always be Disney prices, regardless of construction.

I've been looking in to WL a LOT for a trip in October. Most reviews that I've read seem to feel that the construction had minimal impact on how much they enjoyed their trip, or time at the Lodge itself. Also, have read that as a result of "putting up with" the construction, they've been giving out special lodge pins. Whether this is still happening, or dependent on which level room you're paying for, I'm not sure.

Quick service is still up and running at Roaring Forks. I've read that the new restaurant, Geyer Point, will be open in either February or March, at which point they'll close Roaring Forks for refurbishments as well. Either way, you'll always have access to a quick service option.

I wanted to add a couple of days at WL and no the rates weren't lower. Orbitz was offering 15% off the already 25% off, but I didn't act on it fast enough. They've pulled those rates.
