Has anyone stayed at the Wilderness Lodge recently that can comment on the enforcement of their stroller folding policy on the boats? I was told by a friend who stayed there 3 years ago that you could just wheel the strollers on so the kids could nap. Now I look online and saw this policy on the Disneyworld Wilderness Lodge website in the boat transportation section: "All strollers must be folded and stowed out of the aisle. Medical strollers for disabled Guests will be treated as wheelchairs." I called the hotel directly and they said the policy changed to this but she didn't remember when. Is this really something they enforce? Or is it something they just say? We'll have 3 kids all in strollers and 2 adults on our next trip so not folding strollers is a HUGE issue for us.

If you get one of the smaller boats, yes, you need to fold them up as there just isn't any room to leave them open anywhere. If you get one of the larger boats (enclosed) they typically allow guests to just leave them open.

We were there last summer and they enforce the stroller policy. As the previous poster said, larger boats generally let you leave them open, small boats make you fold them up. Most of the time, we had small boats. The exception was usually at the end of the night at MK.

Whether they enforce the policy are not, as the other notes, most of the time you're going to be on a boat that (due to having to step into it) you will have no choice but to fold the stroller.

The frequent small boats are actually the reason it will be a long time before we return to the wl. I don't like having to carry everything from under the stroller and get kids out. Would much rather stay on a monorail resort *or* drive and have my own time to unpack stroller in rental car.

Boat ride is about 15-20 minutes.

Adding I frequently travel with my dd, now 4. I have a 4 month old as well and having to remove both, hand carry everything from under stroller plus folded stroller just isn't my cup of tea at the moment ;)

Thanks for the updates! How long is boat ride?
15-20 minutes. This was our preferred mode of transportation when leaving MK at night because the line was next to nothing. The boats were typically the enclosed kind where we didn't have to fold two strollers.
