Wilderness Lodge Boat for Dining?

Question(s).

We are staying at the Dolphin/Swan...but I would like to take the kids over to Wilderness Lodge (Whispering Canyon) one day for lunch when we are at the Magic Kingdom.

Will I be able to board the resort boat, even though I am not a guest at Wilderness? I am 95% certain we can, but would like to be 100% certain.

Second, how often do boats leave Magic Kingdom for Wilderness Lodge?

Yes, you can take the boat from the MK to the WL even though you arent staying there. Boats run about 15-20 minutes apart.

Everyone is allowed to use Disney transportation (e.g., buses, boats, monorails) regardless of where you are staying. The boat takes about 20 minutes to get from the MK to WL, so I'd allow about 45 minutes to 1 hour to get from MK to WCC (just in case you just missed the launch and have to wait for the next one).
