I know for all you seasoned cruisers this is no big deal....however, to a new cruiser I just received my Castaway Club info in the mail today.... so i'm gonna watch the video and get all in the mood....for another cruise.

Good Morning ,
It is a cold morning here in NY. Still feeling terrible !! Well today I have get to Babies R Us to get DS some formula. We are not sure what we are going to go with the cruise in 2008. We went to maybe do a Land and Sea cruise so DS can see Disney World too. Well I am going to make DS's cereal for breakfast. Talk to you later

Kathy: Sorry that I haven't written on the cruise report but I am sick and just have been busy with having Christmas here. I will try to get to it when I feel 100% better.

Good morning to all,

we are 37 degrees this morning in Florida. Gonna get to the mid 60's by late afternoon.
On Christmas day we had 3 tornadoes hit the state. One hit Leesburg which is spitting distance from me. It destroyed several mobile homes in one park. Luckily most of the people were not home, they were in the club house eating Christmas dinner, no serious injuries.
They say it was an F2 which was 150 MPH winds.
Deland had it too and destroyed 53 homes and apartments in a matter of a few minutes. Again no serious injuries, however now they are saying another storm is gonna be here on New Years weekend, so it could happen all over again.

Well today I will brave the stores during the clearance sales to get a few things and going to try to get to the post office to mail Bob the CD for the mossiac.

Anybody got plans for New Years?? Anybody giving a party?? I am looking for a party to crash!!
I'll bring my chimp head to start up some conversations.

No party here! We'll probably have something interesting for dinner - if I can figger out what that is - and eventually go to bed with our books. Allthough, one year not too long ago there were concerts on PBS - Moody Blues, Bee Gees, I forget who-all and we wound up staying up thi 3 in the morning, so I guess, if there's something happening we CAN stay awake.

Lynn, So sorry you're sick. Shall I come down and babysit Drew so you can rest? (Gotta get my hands on that baby! hehehee)

Gosh, I hope the weather in Florida gets better before I get back down there next week. I can freeze here at home! It was spritzing snow this morning, but we still haven't had any stick. It hardly seemed like Christmas.

I'm hoping to pin son down today so he can copy them for me and then I will get them out.

Oh I have been wanting to tell you this and keep forgetting the day we sailed away my son captured the ship...he then wrote on it in disney print sail away the date and time....when we got home on the 2nd he put it up for us....very cool... did you maybe want that picture also??? let me know

Denise, you can send as many or as few as you want to send. Of course, as Shell said, the more pictures the better the mosaic! And yes, I would like to see the picture your son made as well!

Bob - I put about 20 pix on a CD the week we returned but haven't had the guts to go to the Post Office to mail it. Now that Christmas is over, I think it's safe (safer) to go back...Plus i need to invoice clients so that will motivate me to get there.

Well, now we get into another one of those cultural things. For southerners, there should only be one meal on New Year's Day:

Black-Eyed Peas with Ham Hock
Turnip/Collard Greens (also cooked with ham hock)
Cornbread.

The meanings are as follows:
Black-eyed peas: Coins in your pocket
Greens: Dollar bills in your pocket
Ham Hock: Good Luck
Cornbread: It goes with the other stuff!
