Okay, that's it!!!! I'm pullin' out full ammo here viruses you are on notice take THAT you infections I'm calling out to kick butt and take names!

Now I want to hear that everybody is their airborne (those of you under the weather can lace it with something stronger)

NO ONE IS CANCELING THEIR TRIP....I REPEAT NO ONE!! YOU WILL ALL FEEL BETTER.

BTW Gordon Family!! I will be the weary one with the Mom in a walker and a DS that dances everywhere and a DH with his IPOD glued to his ears.

WELCOME GORDON!!!

OK, you all are making me paranoid! I just disinfected my entire desk area, washed my hands about 3 times in the last 1.5 hours, and am contemplating which foods to eat from now until Friday that will ward off the evil flu virus!

Pat, are you going to try that recipe tonight? Let me know how you like it.

Wendy and Lorna (or was it Lauri?) ... no Day 2 versions of my essay coming! But, Geez, Cheri ... I expected at least a C+!!!

Shell: Thanks for the pork chop recipe. Dave won't like it with apple pie filling -- too sweet for him, but I'm going to make it when we have company sometime.

Hey Jan ... honestly, you don't taste any sweet in this recipe. The herbs from the stuffing combine with the sweetness of the filling and really diffuse it. I hate super-sweet stuff, too, and worried this would be, but it's not.

Shell, I made your recipe, but forgot the stuffing. Now I have an excuse to try it again! (PS can't wait for a second installment -- I have my Little Orphan Annie decoder ring all set and ready to go!)

1. Brown pork chops (don't have to be cooked all the way through)
2. Place chops in crockpot
3. Cover chops with 1 box of prepared pork-flavored Stove Top stuffing
4. Cover stuffing with 1 can of apple pie filling
5. Turn on the crockpot; cook on medium for about 4 hours

Wife? It did have a bit of a sweet taste to it....a marvelous sweet taste but thats how I saw it....

I'm going to try making the chops with sugar free apple pie filling. Hope that works. My dh has been banned from sugars!

Shell - I had to get my looooooooooooong golden locks cut off and my hair colored. The blonde just didn't suit my skin tone. So I hope you all recognize me on Sat morning. I did put on a few extra pounds the past couple of days, those darn snicker bars, so I won't be wearing my tight leather pants either. When I saw my makeover I thought of Ross on Friends when he was wearing his leather pants

I do hope Linda is enjoying her already in motion vacation. It's cold here. I am so hoping for warmer weather for you all.

Hey everyone.... Thanks so much for your well wishes and extra special doses of pixie dust...we just got back from the Dr. and he said...go on your vacation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He says it's a bad cold and just do lots of nose blowing and saline spray over the next few days so that it doesn't develop into an infection. He has called in a prescription for us to take with us "just in case"...he says there's no need to give him anything now. I think he's concerned John may wind up with an ear infection from the plane ride. I feel so much better now...sorry about the momentarily lapse of insanity this morning...I think I was feeling overwhelmed by everything we have been doing around here the last week or so....cleaning, cleaning and more cleaning...decorating for Christmas...final stages of packing...nursing John in the middle of the night....I'M EXHAUSTED but much happier than I was this morning.
Don and I have been taking zinc stuff since Saturday...sucking on vitamin c drops and washing our hands like crazy. I've washed all the sheets in the house...doused everything with lysol multiple times a day and I'm leaving windows open a bit during the day to keep fresh air flowing.

JEFF - here's some pixie dust for you and the family GET WELL SOON!

I wanted to say thank you to all of those who did a quick turn around on payment for the t-shirts. Its been a blessing trying to clear off the Disney card so that we could use it on our trip. For those who haven't paid (and you know who you are), please do so soon or give me a check on the ship. Else it you will have to walk the plank.

Or do we just use an ATM on one of the islands? And if they will cash em - is there a limit to how much? Thanks in advance. Sorry I forgot about this one!

Thanks to all of you for welcoming me (and my family). This is our first Disney cruise. We are sailing with my wife's parents, aunt, and siblings (with families). There are about 35 people in all. Hope to meet some of you will on the seas or land.

By the way...I wanted to let you all know that if DS shouldn't be around others for fear of getting them sick...we would not be going. I would not want to be the reason that an entire ship of people gets sick...just not my idea of a good time. Dr. says he's at the tail end of the cold and is actually fine to go to school tomorrow if he doesn't have a fever

Kelly I am sorry DS is still sick, but glad you will be going with us!! DD is still fight something. She has a cough and a plugged up nose. NO FEVER. She is doubling up on her vitamins. She does't want to try to airborne. I will be taking it though.. Some one asked what it is. You take it at the 1st sign of a cold or when you are going into a crowd like an airplane or a cruise ship. We'll see if it works.

Jeff You'd better get well soon. Here is some for you and the family.

Jan I hope you enjoy your pedicure tonight. I just had mine done. i also got a massage. I had a gift certificate from DH that I needed to use up. I am now nice and relaxed ready to go on vacation.

Lauri My DD is a dancer too. This is her 4th year. She takes ballet and jazz. She too, loves to dance around.
