Wild Side Teen Excursion on Castaway Cay??

Does anyone think the Wild Side Teen Excursion on Castaway Cay is worth it?

Do the kids build a raft or something? I read that somewhere but can't find it. thanks!

Although my daughter did most of the things through the teen club last year when we went she didn't do the wild side adventure. We spent the time together on the beach. She didn't seem to miss it as this was about the only time we spent together the entire week

When we first boarded we were going to sign up the teens for the Wild Side....I am glad we did not because by the time we got to CC they had made so many new friends that they just wanted to hang out at the teen beach with them all day.

My 13 year-old daughter did do the Wildside and really liked it. I sent a water camera with her and she came back with lots of pictures and a sunburn I'm really not sure what they did, but I'll check with her.....

I just called my daughter and asked her
She said that it was really fun and that they bike to the place that they kayaked (not sure of the spelling!) and biked back. They also snorkeled but that was at the same beach with everyone else. She said if she were to go on the cruise again, she would definitely want to do the wild side again. Hope this helps.....

My son did this excursion when we went on the 3-day back in Sept 2000. He was 13 at the time. He enjoyed everything except the biking. He said the snorkeling was okay but he enjoyed it more with us as a family. We are doing the 7-day in July and he does not wish to do this excursion again. He'll stay with the family because he wants to ride the banana boat and go parasailing.

I did the Wild Side Excrusion last year, and I thought it was ok. I think there is better things to do on the teen beach then to do this.

My daughter did the Wild Side and enjoyed it. They biked, kayaked, snorkeled, and had lunch. They meet to leave the ship at about 8:20 in the morning so I have heard that some teenagers sign up to go and then do not show up because they can't wake up.

Matthew (13yo) has decided to go for it!!! I just secured all my excursions with cruise line. This is going to be an expensive 4 night cruise. Kimberly (16) wants to parasail at castaway cay. She has offered to help pay a little for it. I am just glad that they are willing to try things out.

She did the Wild Side on Castaway Cay on our 2/23 Magic Cruise. All of her new friends also did it and they all had a blast!
