So, we are booked to see the Wild Bill show and have seen that now they are going to start doing two categories. Do you think it would be better to pay the upgrade price to sit lower near the action or is the upper level just as good?

we were at the back and it was more than fine!!...I wouldn't pay extra!

We've sat in the very front row and the very back row and I can't say either was better.
The back row was easier for getting in and out of to take kids to the loo, but that's about it, because of the angle of the seating I wouldn't say you have a better view at either point.
Bear in mind though if you have any asthmatics in the group you may prefer to be that little bit further away from the arena. :)

Just out of interest do you have the new prices ?

Well the disney web site hasn't any indication of this - in fact the prices quoted are for the period:

Prices (valid from 9th November, 2007 till 3rd April 2008 except on December 24th and 31st, 2007):

A little out of date!

Details of the new seating categories and their prices can be found on page 81 of the Winter 08/09 brochure which you can now view online.

A link to this brochure in both the interactive and pdf versions can also be found in the Very Useful Info sticky :)

I do have small children with me, so maybe I'll get lucky and not be stuck in the middle of the pack?! I think I'll just take my chances and see where they seat us. To me the new prices are just another way to get more out of us! This is Euro I can spend in the park!

These are the details of the new pricing structure, not sure I'd agree about a better view though, now if they changed the non alcoholic cocktail to an alcoholic one I'd consider spending the extra £8, otherwise don't think I'd bother, DH has just agreed that there wasn't really any difference in the view.

The screen capture is from DS's PC by the way, honest, I don't play Club Penguin, Adventure Quest, Runescape etc. :rolleyes1

Thanks to everyone for the info and thoughts. I'll be sure to post my WB experience in my post trip. Looking forward to the show and fun in the parks!

I wouldn't pay extra either. We were going to ask to sit at the back because both DH and one DD suffer from hay fever but they seated us there anyway. We had a great view of the whole arena. :thumbsup2

I certainly think the view was better from the back, but then I guess it's personal opinion. Not worth the extra money in my opinion.

when we went we were sat right up front but the little ones view was obscured by the railing round the side of the arena. I think you get a better view of whats happening all over the place sitting further up

:confused3

I have read back through the thread and seen the price guide on page 81 of the brochure - can anyone tell me how to book the show at £35 ? When you go to the DLP site it only shows at £41????

Thanks again for your reply.

I have tried calling the tel no on the site 08705 030303 but it is not recognised!!!

I will find another number and call again tom.

I've just had a look at the online brochure. The cheaper prices are if you are also booking a package, you then get 15% discount. The phone number given in the online brochure is 08448 008 111

Elaine

Thanks a lot for your replies. I have booked via DLP website at £41 each - I hope its good.

You're very welcome. :goodvibes

IMO the food is not really anything to write home about but it is edible and the show is great fun. I am sure you will enjoy it. :wizard:
