I'm over the moon excited to do this Trek at AK. I had a couple questions. If I understand correctly it is reserved at the 180 point like dining but has a special phone line. Anybody know how early you can
call for this. Is the Trek always available every day of the week? Anybody have trouble booking at the 180 day point? Is it refundable with notice?

I do believe it is available everyday of the week, but call for confirmation. The 180 day booking is accurate. In talking with the IPO it didn't seem as if it typically books up all the way out and I've even read of some walk-ups going on the tour. They will honor your time slot however, regardless of how many show. Mileage may vary.

Thanks! I am familiar with the tour but great to post for those not! Glad I can cancel although not likely!

I did it last Wednesday, it was awesome! We only reserved it a couple weeks ahead because my friend is a cast member and that's when she could book it with a discount. We did the 12:30, there were 11 people.

Yes, the trek is offered several times daily.

We've never booked at 180 days, maybe 4-5 months in advance? Also never had an issue getting the day we wanted, just the time. Our last trek we had to take 8:45 am as the 9:30 was booked. Not a big deal.

Refundable with 48 hr cancellation.

We just booked a couple of weeks ago for our mid-June trip. We booked afternoon since this is discounted in the afternoon summer heat and the got our DVC discount on top of that! I hope it's worth the price!

that looks amazing! i googled it to see how much it was and then selected a youtube video to check it out. very cool. DH told me for that much, he would hold out for a real safari... lol!

we are relative newbies to all things disney.... love finding out all the different experiences available. :)
