We just booked ADRs for our Honeymoon in December (got mostly everything we wanted with the exception of BOG *shocker*) and now the next step should be tours. My question is what is the "best" time for Wild Africa Trek? Pre Park opening? Afternoon? Help :)

We did it around 10 am (forget actual time). It gave us a chance to sleep in and ride Primeval Whirl a few times before our tour (DS's favorite)

People generally say that the earlier times are better because the animals are more active. We did ours mid morning and the animals were certainly active enough. If you're an early riser, pre park might be a good choice, but there's something to be said for sleeping in a little on your honeymoon.

Just went on June 11th. We went at 9:30 and the animals were out and about. I would think the heat wouldn't be an issue in December so any time would work. When we made our reservations, they asked if we would be using Disney transportation. If so, the earliest she would recommend was 9:30 due to the bus schedule. We loved it though!

I went on the earliest for cheaper pricing. I think the later it gets the cheaper price.

Early afternoon was great. This was also is early Aug.
