I have looked into the wii u-draw for DD11. She loves to draw and likes the wii but does not play it a lot. If you have this, do your kids enjoy it? What is the best game or activity for it?

We have the wii fit and that never gets used so I'm not sure I want to spend the money for it if it's not something that will get a lot of use. Does the wii fit have any trade-in value at Gamestop?

Thanks for any reviews!!

Ds8 got this for Christmas last year. He only used it a few times over the year. So, for us, it wasn't worth it. Your dd is older, so maybe she'd like it more? I find it hard to use.

I've never traded in games, so can't help you with the other question. Our Wii Fit is never used, either, so I'll be interested in responses.

Good luck with your decision.

We also got it last year, and it has hardly been used. DD wanted it "so so bad". I read alot of reviews online and people loved it, so I don't know.... I wish we didnt waste the money on it and the games.

Same here - has rarely been used. Although my son has developed a new passion (understatement) for drawing - he is 12 - and he pulled it out last week and was using it again. But it really was used very little before.

My girls received one last year for Christmas from my parents and they too used it only a few times.... it hasn't been touched since last Feb/March :rotfl:

I used one at Thanksgiving at a family member's house. They had just purchased it and we played pictionary with it. It was hard to draw on and kind of annoying I thought. several of us were frustrated with it LOL. I'm not sure i'd buy it for our house.

My dd 10 likes to draw as well, and I considered the UDraw, or the Bamboo tablet... ended up ordering a Genius brand tablet for the PC from Amazon. I hope it works well for her...she enjoys drawing on Inkscape and drawing cartoon characters. I saw the UDRaw commercial and it didn't seem as versatile to me. She will be getting the Genius for Christmas, along with some software for animation. Hopefully she will use it more than a couple of times :goodvibes

Glad I found this thread! I looked at one yesterday at Costco. They have a princess and a sponge bob bundle. I was thinking about getting it, but I am guessing it would be a waste of money.

There are 2 different models out there. The white one that was around last year and the newer version which is black. From what I have been told, the newer version is easier to use and the Wii game that comes with it is fun. My dd has asked for it for Christmas and I bought her one today.

Right now Toys R US have it on sale for $49.99 instead of $69.99.

Oh I bought the new version.

Thanks so much for the feedback! I have a feeling DD would use the wii like several pp mentioned. She really prefers paper & pencil and is not a big video game kid. I think I'm just going to get her a box of supplies from the craft store instead.

I bought this last year for Christmas when they finally opened it months later because a friend was over they played with it once. Then I was going through games and told them to try it again and they didn't like it at all so I finally took it to Game Stop and got a little bit of money back for it. My Sister who is 13 and 8 have it too and never play with it.
