What is the difference between Wi and Wii games? Will the Wii game work in the Wi system?
I am just clueless when it comes to these games.
Thanks so much.

Um, I don't believe there's any such thing as "Wi". I'm pretty sure it's just the Wii system and the Wii games... :confused3

They are both "Wii". :thumbsup2

Where are you getting this question from and perhaps we can explain it better to you?

Something labeled "Wi" would be suspicous.

If you meant to type "Wi", then . . . There's no real "Wi". If something is labeled "Wi" then it's fake - the Nintendo system is the Wii.

If it was a typo, then . . . Think of it like a DVD player and DVDs. The Wii itself is like the DVD player. It's the actual gaming system. You need one to play the games. The Wii games are like the DVDs. They are the disks that contain the games which you play on the Wii system.

You can tell I have no idea what I'm talking about, so I do appreciate everyones help.
I bought Disney Sing It. This will work in their gaming system? I know they have many other Wii games.

Does it look like this?

See how it says "Wii" on it, in the corner? If the one you bought says "Wii" then yes, absolutely it will work. :goodvibes

If it says something else, then no, it won't. (I believe this game is also available for Xbox and Playstation. ) Make sure you have the Wii one. :thumbsup2

Wasn't there a game system that preceded Wii called Xi? It only had three games you could play (tennis was one).

Yes, that's it. Bought it in Target.
Thank you again.
