You do not need it to play the game, it is just a cute addition. A regular nunchuk is perfectly fine.

I know what you mean. The MSRP is $19.99. Our Walmart had them at one point but I hadn't purchased the game yet. When I wanted one, they were gone.

I got it at an actual Target. It was the only one there when I got it. I had just purchased the game and decided it'd be worthwhile to get it because we only have one nunchuk but two remotes.

I had to resort to the 'bay for one! I picked one up on the day that it came out, but did not purchase it. Uhhhh!!!

I looked for a solid 3 weeks and every retailer said that they thought it was limited and doubted they would get them back in!

I know that you do not 'need' it to play, but I 'really' wanted one - for my 6 y/o of course - so I broke down and got one!

Wii is the greatest console ever that is if your family oriented of course, every family should have one so family members can engage together. I recently bought mickey paintbrush nunchuk for my baby brother and it always puts a smile on his face.
