Okay, this is not really a disability, but I thought maybe someone here has some experience with this. I lost all my hair to radiation treatment a year or so ago so now I wear wigs. I am worried about losing my wig on some of the rides like TOT or any of the roller coasters. Yes, I could just wear a hat or go without the wig, but I do like to have my hair on for pictures and don't want to risk sunburn on my head...
Any suggestions to avoid losing my hair all over again?

. I would just make sure that the straps in the back are tightened to the absolute end of what you can still tolerate and it will be okay. I did get a scare on RNRC, but it held up
I thought it came off but it didn't it just got blown everywhere (the hair). I hope that you have a great time at WDW too
Still struggling with the stamina. The wig looked natural but when the temp was over 100F I refused to sweat it out and wore a baseball cap. The wig was already tight, and tightening it even more to keep from blowing in the wind would've just given me a headache.
But for the obligatory been there done that pics, could you wear the wig for pics early one morning, then go with the basebrawl cap to keep cool after that? With the cap you can go into a restroom and soak your head to cool off. That wouldn't work too well with the wig. Those hats with hair are cute, tho I wouldn't have gotten enough use out of one to make it a worthwhile investment.
