<b>This past weekend, we had the honor of taking a set of 4 wiggles tickets off of Kimraye's hands. She had a made a boo boo with Ticketmaster and we worked out a deal to get Wiggly. (woo hooo, thanks Kim - great seats!)
Anyway, we drove to Chicago and got to watch the show at the Chicago Theatre in downtown Chicago. I lost the bet on parking - I thought it'd be $20 and it was only $13.
We got down a little early and walked around a bit before going in. We were about the 15th family in line to get in, which was great because after we spent some wiggly money on some wiggly souvenirs, we looked back down into the entrance and it was crammed solid with people. The inside of the theatre is absolutely stunning for those of you who haven't been in there. I took some natural light pictures inside and this one turned out nice:
While we waited for the show, I snapped this pic of the girls:
Notice Brittany has lost her first front tooth (on the way to see the Wiggles no Less) and of course, they are all in matching dresses. (rollseyes smiley)
Brittany got a Captain Feathersword hat that Abby loved:
And here come the Wiggles!!!!
There was lots of dancing, and Jeff (the Wiggle, not me) kept falling asleep:
And Murrary came up in our section to get the roses for Dorothy (we didn't know about that, it's Kim's fault for not telling us. hehehehe).
We were thinking that it was DISappointing that both Dorothy and Wags got gifts from the patrons at the show, but all Henry got was zilch. nada. squat. We think if we see this show again, we'll bring some plankton in or something for him. hehehehe
Of course, a lot of dancing in the aisles was done, and Brittany joined in having the time of her life:
She was worried it was going to be too kiddie for her. She really really had a good time. We were happy.
It was a GREAT show, and we are really grateful that Kim gave us a chance to get Wiggly. We stopped afterwards to eat Dinner at Bennigans on Michigan Avenue. A short trip back to Milwaukee and the day is done. If you would like to see more pictures from the show, you cal click here. There's even two short videos (will take a while to download unless you have broadband) if you want to hear a live show taped on my digital camera.
Thanks Kim!
