I agree about the spotty WiFi at PPH, I brought my laptop with me last Oct, however when we went in July, I skipped it. I just used my phone and my husband's tablet when needed if I needed to check a website or something.
I hope so! I can't believe in this day and age they couldn't get a company to sponsor wifi in the parks. I always want to check a wait time app but can't.

There are some of us from other countries (I live in Canada) that don't want to pay huge roaming fees. It would be nice to access free wifi in the parks.
I am OK with a FEW areas that have WiFi to check emails and such...but the LAST thing I would want is a bunch of people with their heads down in the their phones walking around oblivious to everything around them!

This! We keep seeing new WDW parks getting free wifi added and are hoping to see Disneyland added at some point in the next 3 weeks (wishful thinking, we know!).

Because I don't have a smart phone. I have an itouch and a kindle. Both connect to the internet with wifi when it's available. We don't want to spend $50 a month or more on a cell phone. I have a pay as you go plan with Verizon and only pay $100 every year for my cell phone service.
However, we are getting the new Kindle Fire that allows you to pay $50 for the year and get limited 4G. So I will have that when it arrives. But I wouldn't mind getting free wifi in the parks and having ads pop up every so often. All I want to do is check wait times, restaurant menus, ect. not watch a movie.
