Wifi in the parks?

I have always found the wifi to be very slow and iffy in the parks and resorts. I only use my data plan on my phone while at WDW, I don't have data on my tablet so I have to use the wifi. I have 2 gigs of data and have never come close to using even 1 gig. Streaming music and movies uses a lot of data, not apps or surfing the internet so no worries. 4G LTE is usually faster than most wifi even under the best of circumstances. On busy days like Christmas even the cell networks get bogged down though. The MDE app is a whole other story. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't.

I don't own a cell phone *gasp* so all I am taking is my ipod, and will rely on the spotty wifi. I don't plan on using it a whole lot, just maybe for wait times now and then.
