Wierdest Memory

I don't know if it's the wierdest memory... I have to take you back to a childhood filled with Mickey Mouse and Disney everything!! My parents took me to Disneyland when I turned six. We went on the submarine ride and I was soooo scared of going under water, the octopus, barely even reaching the window to see out the port hole. When I went back as a teen, I laughed at this memory. I am still sad the ride no longer exsists. I know it wasn't a thrill seeker. I still love the originals (jungle cruise, small world and yes I admit the tiki room)! My first experience at WDW was my honeymoon! So all around Disney has been apart of my life and always will be. Call me a Disney FREAK! I told my dh we have to sail on our ten year anniversary, what else Disney Cruiseline!!!

Not sure about the weirdest but 1 I will never forget.


My parents took my sister and I to Disney when we were younger. I was 10 and my sister was 6. They gave us a few dollars to have and spend. I remember walking out of the store on Main Street and looking back and seeing my sisters money fall from her hands to the sidewalk. Of course my parents rushing (oblivious to the money), my sister didnt realize the money was gone and me walking to go back to get it. Its like it happened in slow motion. I saw this couple bend down and pick it up, look right at me and my sister and put the cash in their pockets. I remember it like it happened yesterday and it was 28 years ago. When my sister realized she lost the money she bust out crying and I told my parents what happened.
Common thieves taking a little girls money. It was only probably 3 dollars but for them to look at me and put it in their pocket was terrible.
