Wierd day at the park yesterday

There were a LOT of "suits" walking around DCA today. Over in Pacific Wharf, there were bright lights and cameras set up, and the area was not accessible to the gen. public. Something was going on there today. Maybe the CMs were tense because there are lots of people from "corporate" walking around, and they are being "watched".

heh, i think a lot of CM are pretty burnt out + most of them are @ school/work overlap.

man, did we get yelled at for really lame things.

...the only difference is that he had a headset cable running down into the neck of his shirt!

That's definitely the thing to look for!

I would think tense CM's and the uniformed police being there are mostly unrelated.

Labor Day was late this year, most Casual/Seasonal Cast members have gone back to school so the remaining crew is probably on OT and fumes.... not a great excuse, but they are real people, not audioanimatronics.

And for uniformed APD to be on stage is extremely unusual. They must have been there due to credible specific threats or intelligence.

I don't understand why those kind of people even go to DL they are the complete antithesis of the whole Walt Disney concept... I would really have to bite my tongue to not reply with the caustic sarcasm that runs in our family...

It may have been due to the holiday, not to mention 9/11 is fast approaching as well. It might be a combination of the above and someone reporting someone or something suspicious. Maybe it was the mother of all training exercises.
