Wide screen here... we solved the black on top and bottom issue with getting a 35 in TV... lol..... Hardly notice it now!

You know, I think ER is or was shown in widecreen! I remember seeing the bars when that first started but have no memory of it now! I will have to go check Thursday nights episode and see if they still do that!
