We have tickets to catch a few Atlanta Braves Spring Training games during our visit (to be honest that's the main reason for our visit and going to WDW is the secondary purpose :teeth: ) Is there an extra charge to get into Wide World of Sports area aside from already purchasing game tickets? When we went a couple of years ago I didn't realize it was at WDW Wide World of Sports so we did Universal plus the games. And we didn't have to pay any extra to get in just with the new Magic Your Way tickets and all I didn't know if anything had changed.

Also is there any transportation between the parks and Wide World of Sports or should we just plan on driving between?

Thanks!

I too was there a couple of years ago and did not have to pay. There aren't any real "attractions" there so I don't see why you would have to pay to get into the facility.

Yes, there are buses that go there, however they don't run as frequently so you might want to find out the times in advance.

The admission to Wide World of Sports is included in your Atlanta Braves tickets. I posted a response on how the buses run that I received from Wide world of sports in the Transportaion section with "bus schedule after Atlanta Braves" as the header We are going to the March 14th game at 7:05 so the response is more towards night games, but it might help you out.

From what I remember traffic wasn't that bad at the games themselves, parking was a breeze and there was no charge for it. I'm thinking we'll probably leave whatever park we're at and drive since it'll probably be easier on our sanity. It'll just depend on how our day goes. At least we know there's the option now thanks!

The only Disney bus service to the Sports Complex is from the Disney Studios. I don't believe it runs nearly as frequently as the rest of the WDW bus serivce. I do know from a recent post by Tyler (former Disney bus driver and transportation board moderator) that the last bus leaving the WWOS is at 8pm regardless of what is taking place there.
So you are better off driving if you are talking about a night game.
