Hi I'm staying for 9 days in November and have the IPod touch and it would be nice to be able to update my podcasts and check my email. I,m not so worried about it to pay for internet service but if there were some free wi-fi hot spots i thought i might take advantage of it. i couldnt find anything on the boards (although i'm sure there must be) anyone know anywhere that has it? I was thinking the BWI's lobby had free wi-fi but were staying at PORS. not that i couldnt swing through when im in the nieghborhood. thx!

post show area of Spaceship Earth has wi-fi but have never tries it . Also I have read one person reporting that they have been able to pick up wi-fi in some areas of the parks. They attribute it most likely to bleed off from offices.

I use a Blackberry so I haven't really tried to search for hot spots.

There is no wi-fi in any of the parks.

Some of the convention resorts have wi-fi in the convention areas and lobbies, but it's quite expensive.

Your best bet for free wi-fi is the McDonalds near the All-Star resorts.

yes i didn't figure i could get it in any of the parks but was hoping maybe some of the delux resorts might. does anyone remember having it at boardwalk? when i was there in april i thought i saw people in the lobby with there pc's......anyhow thanks!

You can always bring an Apple Airport Express and plug it in in your room. It creates a WiFi network out of a wired network. You'd still have to pay for the daily Internet access from your room.

As stated above there is no free wi-fi and only limited paid wi-fi.

the cost for wi-fi is the same as wired internet. Here is a list of places that offer wi-fi.

One other thing you can do is either bring your router from home or purchase a cheap one for the trip. People here have successfully setup a router in their room.

I use one of these with my blackberry or Aircard to create my own wifi Hotpsot. It has an internal battery that runs for several hours and it will charge your 3G capable phone also.
I am ready for Project X, the app the DIS is rolling out next week. It is going to be awesome! The boards on an iphone - formated for an Iphone!

There is free WiFi at The BoardWalk, but it is free only to DVC members.
