Why when I go to last page of thread shows old posts

Hi
whenever I go to any thread and click on last page it shows posts from 2001, 2007 etc
How do I find the new posts
Very confusing

Could you give an example, as it works fine for me on my threads. (I assume you are not looking at very old threads)

The new system does not recognize where you "left-off" in the old system, and subsequently has EVERYTHING noted as "unread." One way to fix this is to use the "Mark Forums Read" button at the top left of the page before you log-off. You can do this by individual forum, or all at once. The next time you log-in, only threads with new posts since you last log-in will be bolded.
