Why was my account deleted??

Some time in the past month my account vanished. At first I thought I forgot my password. So I tried to reset it and was told my account, email etc did not exist. I then created a new account using the same username as before. All is good except I'm starting everything from scratch. All of my old emails are gone. I'm a long time user here, many many years and probably 1000's of posts. Any ideas what happened?

In early Feb. the DIS switched from vbulletin to xenforo for their forum software. Is that around when your account was deleted? or did it happen after the switchover?

Probably around the same time. So accounts were not transferred over? Everyone had to create a new account and lose all emails etc?

We don't delete accounts. What was your username before? Can you find any of your old posts?

No, I don't think accounts were deleted intentionally or anything, but maybe there was a glitch in the transfer somehow. I see a mod has responded - I am sure she can help you further!
