Why the New DVC Forum Format?

Aulani has a non-DVC hotel component and many non-DVC members rent DVC villas for cash direct from Disney. Thus, it doesn't surprise me that the Disboards placed the Aulani thread where it is located.

I don't understand why it wasn't added under the resorts board and not just added as a main board?

Maybe they are having difficulty adding and moving boards?

I believe it is a simple way of making the DISBoards more accessible to those accessing it using a phone or other small device. The change reduces the amount of scrolling one needs to do to find the forum they want.

I'm still not diggin' this new format. I keep scrolling right past the single DVC line and I have to go up & down 3x to find it. GO BACK TO THE OLD WAY PLEASE!! (Wonder why nobody from the DIS chimed in here to give us the official reasoning?!)

I find out that I could make a new bookmark (or favorite) with the DVC forum open. So now when I click on the new link it opens to DVC categories of the DVC forum. I got rid of my old link.

I don't get this either, why try it out on a smaller forum? Wouldn't have made more sense to do it on a big forum that takes lots of scroll space? And besides it would make more sense to do all at the same time so you are not picking on one group?

And it even makes less sense that the moved DVC Trip reports to be a subcategory of Mousecellaneous.

I too and tending to scroll right by it
